The efforts of Maslow, Rogers, and friends, Humanistic Psychology 1.0, served well as a basis for talk therapies billable to insurance up to about 1990.
In 1990, newer 'quick release' methods, more effective than talk therapy, were popularized. The old humanistic framework burst. Dowsing, muscle testing, EFT were too much "outside the box" of the old paradigm. Holistic Psychology 2.0 is a newer, larger wineskin to accommodate newer healing methods--and even--methods not yet invented.
